Southern Rock powerhouse to appear October 5
LAS VEGAS – Armed with a catalog of hits beloved by rock fans for decades, 38 Special brings its tour to The Club at the Cannery Casino & Hotel, 2121 E. Craig Road, North Las Vegas, Nev., at 8:00 p.m. on October 5, 2013.
After more than three decades together, 38 Special continue to bring their signature blast of Southern Rock to more than 100 cities a year. The band’s hits are instantly familiar to rock fans: “Hold On Loosely,” “Rockin’ Into the Night,” “Caught Up in You,” “Fantasy Girl,” “If I’d Been the One,” “Back Where You Belong,” “Chain Lightnin’,” and “Second Chance,” among them.
38 Special tours relentlessly, and founding member Don Barnes (guitar, vocals) said that is a point of pride for the band. “We never wanted to be one of those bands that had maybe gotten a little soft or complacent over the years,” Barnes said. “We're a team, and it's always been kind of an unspoken rule that we don’t slack up, we stack up. We go out there every night to win.”
38 Special also features Danny Chauncey (guitar, vocals,) Larry "L.J.” Junstrom (bass,) Gary Moffatt (drums) and Bobby Capps (keyboard, vocals).
Tickets start at $19.95 and can be purchased at www.cannerycasino.com or by calling the Cannery Casino & Hotel at (702) 507-5700.
