Cannery Casino Resorts is a family company that believes in helping its community. We especially love partnering with you, our customers, to do just that. Over the last year, we held countless blood drives, encouraging our staff, and you, our guests, to donate. That effort has paid off. We were thrilled to get word from United Blood Services that for the 8th consecutive year, our Las Vegas properties ranked in the top for blood donation.
For 2013, Cannery North ranked #1 out of 57 participating organizations in the industry. We donated a staggering 834 pints of blood! Eastside Cannery ranked 4th, collecting 466 units of blood. “We are very proud to champion the cause and support United Blood Services in collecting life-saving pints of blood for local hospital patients,” said Tom Lettero, president and chief financial officer for Cannery Casino Resorts. “Our consistent top donor listing is a testament to our caring employees and guests, and to the community, and we thank them for their support.”
