In a long statement, Ward expressed in detailed explanation that he will not be performing because of "many complicated issues and unseen and unspoken agendas on hand."   • Bret Michaels settles lawsuit over Tony awards injury
    Paula David - Fourth Estate Cooperative ReporterLos Angeles, CA, United States (4E) - Poison front man Bret Michaels agreed for a settlement reported Tuesday regarding his lawsuit against Tony Awards and CBS following a serious injury during a performance in 2009. Michaels, whose band performed "Nothing But A Good Time" during the Tony Awards in 2009 at the Radio City Hall in New York, was hit on the head by a piece of the set after their performance.   • Donna Summer dies at 63
    Paula David - Fourth Estate Cooperative ReporterLos Angeles, CA, United States (4E) - "Bad Girls" singer and five-time Grammy Award winner Donna Summer died at 63 years old today in Key West, Florida after a long battle with lung cancer. LaDonna Adrian Gaines in real life, Summer's family said in a statement that they "are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy, " reports TMZ. Dubbed the "Queen of Disco", she tried to keep her illness from the public eye. She had been working on an album before she passed away.
